About advanced features
Advanced features are features or configurations that are currently being developed, but have not yet been incorporated as standard Browser Extension features. In certain circumstances, it may be beneficial to enable and configure one or more of these advanced features. You should enable and configure an advanced feature only if you are directed to do so by Perception Point Support.

Adding a new advanced feature
Admin users can add and configure advanced features. When you add an advanced feature, you will need to first receive from Perception Point Support the name of the advanced feature, and the required configurations. You'll also need to specify the specific policy with which to associate the new advanced feature.
To add a new advanced feature:
-
In the Advanced Browser Security console, open the Settings > Advanced features page.
The list of currently-configured advanced features is displayed.
-
Click New advanced feature.
-
Enter the name of the new advanced feature. The name is case-sensitive.
Advanced Browser Security will check if the specified feature is a valid advanced feature.
-
If the feature does exist, the Advanced Browser Security console will display the policy in which the feature exists. For some features, "Policy" is displayed, and not the policy type.
Enter the following values for the new advanced feature:
-
If the feature does not exist, select the "Add unknown feature anyway" check box, and then enter the required information.
