About the Incident Response Summary

The Incident Response Summary page [also known as the IR Dashboard] lets you see a summary of the incidents that were reviewed by the "Acronis Email Security" IR Team during the selected period.

The incidents were reviewed either because:

  • A review by the "Acronis Email Security" IR Team was requested by your organization.

    - or -

  • A scan was assigned a Suspicious verdict by "Acronis Email Security". The "Acronis Email Security" IR Team will analyze the scan to determine if it should be assigned the Clean, Malicious, or Spam verdict.

The Incident Response Summary lets you see:

  • The number of incidents that were reviewed by the "Acronis Email Security" IR Team - in various categories.

  • An estimate of the amount of time that the "Acronis Email Security" IR Team saved your organization by performing the reviews.

Showing the Incident Response Summary

To show the Incident Response Summary:

  • In "Acronis Email Security", in the left navigation menu, select Insights > Incident Response.

Any admin user with the "Self Analysis" role [or higher] can access the Incident Response Summary page.

Setting the date range

Use the available controls to set the date range that will be included in the Summary.

Understanding the Incident Response Summary

Number of Incidents Reviewed

The number of incidents that were reviewed by the "Acronis Email Security" IR Team during the selected period.

  • The total includes incidents that were reviewed from all protected channels.

  • The incidents were reviewed either because:

    • A review by the "Acronis Email Security" IR Team was requested by your organization.

    • A scan was assigned a Suspicious verdict by "Acronis Email Security".

Total Effort Saved

The amount of time that the "Acronis Email Security" IR Team saved your organization during the selected period - by performing the reviews.

The time is the sum of the three categories of IR reviews that are described below:

  • Investigation Requests Reviewed by the IR Team

  • Suspicious Scans Reviewed and Found to be Malicious or Spam

  • Suspicious Scans Reviewed and Found to be Clean

Incidents Open for Review

The number of incidents that are currently open and waiting to be reviewed by the "Acronis Email Security" IR Team. The number includes both:

  • reviews that were requested by your organization - during the selected date range.

  • scans that were assigned a Suspicious verdict by "Acronis Email Security" - during the selected date range.

You can hover your mouse over the graphic to show details:

  • The outer circle shows the number of incidents - in each of the three categories of IR reviews.

  • The inner circle shows the hours saved - in each of the three categories of IR reviews.

Investigation Requests Reviewed by The IR Team

The number of investigations that were requested by your organization, that were then reviewed by the "Acronis Email Security" IR Team - during the selected period.

To calculate the time saved by your organization, an average of 10 minutes per review is assumed.

Suspicious Scans Reviewed and Found to be Malicious or Spam

The number of scans that were originally assigned a Suspicious verdict by "Acronis Email Security", that were then reviewed by the "Acronis Email Security" IR Team. A Malicious or Spam verdict was then assigned.

To calculate the time saved by your organization, an average of 15 seconds per review is assumed.

Suspicious Scans Reviewed and Found to be Clean

The number of scans that were originally assigned a Suspicious verdict by "Acronis Email Security", that were then reviewed by the "Acronis Email Security" IR Team. A Clean verdict was then assigned.

To calculate the time saved by your organization, an average 45 seconds per review is assumed.

Amount of Incidents Reviewed Over Time

Shows the number of incidents that were reviewed each day during the selected period. This graph should help you to track trends and identify any areas of concern.
